J N G L is 22-year-old producer and musician

Mathew Hislop from Brisbane, Australia, who has been breaking the boundaries of Electronic music since the release of his debut EP ‘Saviour’ in 2013. With his unique sound and style of production, J N G L sets out to push the boundaries of Electronic music with the 2014 releases of his second EP ‘Face to Face’ (out now), followed by the release of his third EP in November, things are looking to only get bigger and better for this emerging producer.

J N G L had a busy year in 2013 with the release of his debut EP ‘Saviour’, which received acclaim from blogs, websites and radio, receiving airtime on Triple J and earning him the honour of being named one of six of the most promising new producers of 2013 by dance music website inthemix. This then earned J N G L the privilege of playing the artist showcase at EMC (Electronic Music Conference) during the 2013 ARIA week in Sydney. JNGL has also supported and played alongside such big name acts as, ASTA, Muscles, Gigamesh, Twinsy, Bluejuice, The Temper Trap, The Aston Shuffle and the Yacht Club DJ’s, sharing the stage with some of these acts as a last minute experimental set at the Soundscape festival in Hobart in November 2012.

With his unique style of powerful and emotive electronic dance music, J N G L is quickly shaping his place in the music world and is proving to be an act to watch in 2014 and beyond.
